KIO3B speaker level in digital mode

I am using WSJT-X for JT65 and a simple USB cable to my K3S.  Can xmt and rcv fine, but the internal speaker in the rig has very loud output when I xmt and I cannot find a way to reduce the audio output.  The AF gain on the rig has no effect.  Any ideas? Thanks.
