KPA-100 RFC 10 question

oe9fwv
hello,

in my KPA 100 manual there is  RFC 10 from the center pin of J2 to the
Ground pin. It is no more present in the Rev. E manual. Should I install it or
not?
I plan to mount the KPA 100 on top of the Kat100 in the EC2 housing.

73!
Werner

Re: KPA-100 RFC 10 question

Don Wilhelm-4
Werner,

The new T/R switch design eliminates RFC10.  It was a source of trouble
because it could cause a 40 meter parasitic oscillation.  That problem
was usually noticed when operating with a KAT100.
Do not install RFC10 in the updated KPA100.
