KPA-100 Schematic

The latest KPA-100 schematic (dated 9/25/06) shows R4 across the X1 crystal is 100K.  A previous mod shows R4 was changed to 39K.  My amp has been changed to the 39K value.  Which value is correct?  Thanks.   Roy Morris  W4WFB

100K is the correct value, as shown in the Rev D manual schematic.

With 39K the system normally works, but it causes some voltages within the
KPA100 to rise above that considered safe for some components.
