Is production behind schedule?  Rumors are circulating that the cost may be more than the TenTec 418 is this true or false?  Tells us when we might expect it to hit the market now.

They've never made any statement about the cost and they've never given
specific dates, only general estimates. Those estimates have slipped as
time has passed.

Those 'rumors' got started as the TenTec information was released and the
Ten Tec is of similar drive characteristics. People immediately started
saying that it would have to be more expensive than Ten Tec. That's how
rumors start.

Elecraft publishes all current shipping estimates on their website. As for
price, I don't imagine you'll see anything legitimate until the actual
release announcement.
