KPA 500 issue

John's email
Got up early this morning and noticed a soft yellow glow from the shack.  I never leave anything on so upon closer inspection, I found my KPA 500 display was on and the message said MCU Load.  The power switch on the front of the amp doesn't work, the menu button doesn't work and the only way to turn off the amp is with the rear rocker switch.  Nothing works except that switch.  I have an email into Elecraft and one of the engineers is going to check into this issue for me.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this occur.  I haven't had the amp on for a couple of weeks.  I'm perplexed!  Quick response from Elecraft by the way letting me know they are checking into this issue.  Sounds like software problems to me but what do I know, I'm retired!
