KPA500 firmware 1.18 is now available on our beta web site listed below. This version is recommended for KPA500 owners that use KAT500s.

Additionally KAT500 firmware is available. This version is recommended for owners of transceivers whose tune power is just 10 watts.

Hi,

I got them both and updated with no problems. The problem with not being able to change the auto tune VSWR threshold is fixed. I changed mine down to 1.5:1.

Hi again,

I don't know if it's a coincidence or not but after the upgrade I no longer have a problem tuning my G5RV on 15m. I'm trying to bust thye pileup for E51E right now and finding that he is significantly stronger on the G5RV than the resonant half wave dipole. Here is the current tuning situation on the G5RV:
