KPA100 - Do I need 2 PS and a 2nd RX?

Darwin, Keith
I'm building the KPA100.  So far, so good.  As I peek ahead in the
manual I see that I need some "test equipment" I don't have;

  - 2 Power supplies
  - Separate receiver

How mandatory are these?

With the 2 power supplies, can I use two power cables hooked to my singe
20 amp supply?  When the test calls for turning one one while the other
is off, I'll just disconnect the appropriate + cable.  Does that do it?

And do I need to monitor the TX signal on a separate RX or can I get
away with just assuming all is OK and doing on the air checks with other
hams to see if there is an issue?

I've already aligned the TX filters in the KSB2 (using a 2nd rig that
I've since sold) so that part is covered.
