KPA100 Fan Noise

John Huffman-2
I've been moving things around in the shack and have been particularly annoyed
with the noise from the KPA100 fan when it's on high.  I don't think this is
new, just that I notice it more with the rig a bit closer.

Is there a way to make the fan quieter?

Is it just me and my fan or are they all pretty noisy?

Is there a better fan to put in place of the stock fan?

I have an auxiliary fan and it helps, but the KPA100 fan still goes on,
eventually.

Ball bearing and similar fans have a longer life with quiet than sleeve
bearing fans.  You might check out the offerings from Mouser in small fans.
