JH,
Those standoffs do not have a lot of extra thread length, but they will fit
if everything is positioned correctly. Check first to determine if there is
any gap between the PC board and the rear panel - there should be none at
all. You may have the DB9 connector mounted at a slight angle which will
not only give difficulty with the standoffs, but will cause problems later
when you try mounting on the heat sink if it is not corrected. I will leave
it unsaid (out loud at least) how I came to know that tid-bit of info <G>.
