KPA100 build questions

Mike Short
I just bought a KPA100 that was originally purchased in 2002. It is
unassembled.
I ordered the firmware update, the KPA100UPKT and the shield upgrade. With
this I should be
able to build it up using the latest manual, yes? Would I not use the
component values in the latest
manual and go as if it was a recent amp?

Mike,

Yes, you can build it from the new manual with no problem.
The manual level should be either Rev E, or Rev D with the latest errata
sheet - the two are equivalent.

Be certain to do a complete inventory and put the extra parts aside so
you do not become confused with them.  You will have 2 pairs of 1.6 ohm
2 watt resistors - use only the ones with the reddish/brown body, the
light blue ones may be inductive.
