KPA100 option with the KAT100-2/EC2 add ons

Saildjnich
I am sure several of you have done this so maybe you can steer me clear of
any pitfalls. I am thinking of adding to my K2 the KPA100 option along with the
KAT100-2 external tuner in the EC2 Custom Enclosure. I want to keep my K2
unchanged. It is currently equipped with the KBT2 internal battery as well as
other options. My goal being to be able to use the KPA100 and KAT100 at  home,
and unplug this module to go qrp in the field.

Are there any particular quirks I should take into consideration as I start
this project? Is it easy enough to do? Are there any modifications that need
to  be completed? Any input, general or specific, would be appreciated.

Thanks:

Dave, N2AWE
