That is exactly the problem I had with the Mac OS version -- the utility is from last June, and when the download box was clicked it reported that I already had the latest firmware (1.87, if I remember right). Several times. This morning I tried it on a different Mac, and it downloaded 2.0 FB. This afternoon I tried it again on the first Mac, and it worked. The only variable I can think of is that I had lunch in between tries. See if that works with Linux.

Now that I know about the need to update the firmware and the utility, I
noticed that the Linux version of the utility is still from last June.
It thinks that firmware version 1.87 is up-to-date, and knows nothing
about version 2.0.
