KPA500 f/w 1.23 was released earlier this month. . Its strongly
recommended KPA500 users upgrade to 1.23 for best performance. For release notes etc see: http://www.elecraft.com/KPA500/kpa500_software.htm 73, -- Eric www.elecraft.com ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

I had to go hunting on the ftp site in order to find this, as the KPA Utility didn't find it.
Now I have a problem but only on 6 meters. I get a PA DISS message on the KPA500, the utility reads it as "Power amplifiers are dissipating excessive power". I see an erratic display on my K3 when I press the XMIT button. It shows the SWR and power going up and down. Going back to 1.18 didn't solve the issue. Why did I do this just before the January VHF contest? Again, this is only on 6 meters. Any ideas? 73 de Sebastian, W4AS On Jan 17, 2013, at 1:43 PM, "Eric Swartz - WA6HHQ, Elecraft" <[hidden email]> wrote: > KPA500 f/w 1.23 was released earlier this month. . The only way I hear about firmware releases is when people have problems
with them. Is there a mailing list for firmware releases? Is my spam filter eating them? Hisashi,
Normally Eric or Wayne or Paul post a firmware update (or beta release) notice here on the reflector. Sorry you are not seeing them. It might be wise to check your spam folder. 73, Don W3FPR On 1/19/2013 12:05 PM, Hisashi T Fujinaka wrote: > The only way I hear about firmware releases is when people have problems > with them. You can check the software page:
http://www.elecraft.com/software/elecraft_software_page.htm When there is a new item, I see a "New" icon and then use the link to find the new information. http://www.elecraft.com/KX3/KX3_software.htm then http://www.elecraft.com/KX3/kx3_app_notes.htm and the new builder alert is at the top of the page. Operating tips are the next set of items. Rich NU6T On 1/19/2013 9:05 AM, Hisashi T Fujinaka wrote: > The only way I hear about firmware releases is when people have problems > with them.
