KPA500 single input and output

Rajiv Dewan, N2RD
I suspect that many of us have separate antennas for different bands, most likely for HF and 6m.  The two antenna inputs on the K3 work very well for that purpose and switch automatically when I switch bands.  That is why I am curious why the KPA500 does not at least have two switched outputs with band memory like the K3.

This is one feature I am going to loose when I start to use the KPA500, which I have ordered.

Raj,
N2RD

Re: KPA500 single input and output

Phil Salas
I have three antennas (43-foot vertical, 20/15/10 meter rotatable dipole.
6-meter beam) so two ports on the KPA500 wouldn't be sufficient for me.  I
use the Ameritron RCS-12 which takes band data from the K3 and selects the
appropriate antenna.  I have a review of the RCS-12 in the "Reviews" section
of my website at www.ad5x.com.
