My K3 was repaired and worked very well, when I reconnected the KPA500 the auto band switching went into overdrive and instead of 40m it decided it was 20m
Thereby causing Hi voltage fault and Hi SWR
The result my K3 blew the Fets in the RF LPA board AGAIN!
Any ideas what could cause the Amp to react in this way.
The K line has worked well many times before.. it is used for portable use so gets reconnected and transported a lot.
Before the RF LPA was destroyed the band changed worked as did the KPA front panel buttons.
After the fault the no controls anywhere
