KPAK3AUX Cable Length

Richard Thorne-4
How long is the KPAK3AUX cable?  Trying to determine if it's long enough
to reach for my desk configuration.

Can two cables be plugged together to make it longer to accommodate my
setup.

Thanks

Rich - N5ZC

Re: KPAK3AUX Cable Length

Cady, Fred
Hi Rich,
It's 36" long. If that's not long enough you can just get a 15-pin DE15HD cable to extend it. You only need one KPAK3AUX cable in your set up to isolate the K3 ACC signals that shouldn't be connected to the KPA500.
Try http://www.winfordeng.com and http://www.cablewholesale.com for 15-pin cables. Beware is using VGA cables.

Hi Rich,

The KPAK3AUX cable has been lengthened to 1.5 m (1/2" shy of 5 ft). In addition,
we have also changed it to a much more flexible and smaller diameter cable to
ease routing behind the equipment.

The KPAK3AUX Cable Set actually consists of three parts:
1. KPAK3AUX cable, 1.5 m (1/2" shy of 5 ft)
2. 15 pin Y cable for other AUX port devices
3. 15 pin Male-Female PTT line interrupter plug.

The KPAK3AUX cable by itself can also be ordered for less cost under part number
E850463.

See the KPA500 section of our order form to order the KPAK3AUX cable kit.
See the KAT500 order section for the E850463 cable. The direct links to those
sections are:
