KRC2 use with Tentec OmniVI

I had been lead to believe there was a way to use the KRC2 with the
Tentec OmniVI. The OmniVI uses the
ICOM C-IV protocol for serial communications. When I studied the
manual last night I could only see ICOM
analog band data being used and not the C-IV serial data. Am I
overlooking something?

Of course, the OmniVI has band data on the 25-pin connector but three
of the bands are doubled up (17/15, etc).
I am looking for a way to automatically separate the WARC band info
from the 'contest' band info.

If it just cannot be used, I will have one of the KRC2s I purchased
here For Sale... (The other one will be used
with the K3.)
