KRX3 Roofing Filters

Received my KRX3 subreceiver.  I have a question about placement of roofing
filter in the subreceiver.  I am only using the 2.7 Khz filter in the
subreceiver.  Does it matter which position I place the 2.7 Khz filter or
should I put it in the same position as the main receiver?  Thanks for the
