Hello,
yesterday I installed the KRX3 into my K3 s/n 0192. All went well and after the installation the main rx and the tx seem to work fine. However, I just tried calibrating my KRX3's synthesizer. Initially this goes as expected but suddenly the values on the VFO display add up very quickly and then I get "E00039" on the VFOA display and VFOB shows "ERR VC4". Please advise on which steps to take to remove this error. Thanks in advance Glenn ON4WIX _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Subscriber Info (Addr. Maybe this has been discussed before...
Using the manual notch to dip a unwanted signal works great. I would expect that the AGC would react to this notching by increasing the gain of the rx again. It seems that this is not so. Is the notchfilter just an AF notch filter and not a IF notch (DSP IF of 8.2 IF)? 73 Arie PA3A _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. At present, the NOTCH filter, whether automatic or manual, is after the AGC loop. 73, Lyle KK7P _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Thanks Lyle,
That's the thing I was describing indeed. Any plans of moving the notch "upstream" as if it were notching in IF (like in a analog rx) ? Lyle,
Is anybody at Elecraft AT PRESENT working on bringing the notch "upstream" as if it were notching in IF (like in a analog rx) ? 73 Arie PA3A ============================ Hello Arie! > Key phrase is "at present" :-) 73, Lyle KK7P _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
