Subject: [Elecraft] RE: Preview of coming attractions. To: [hidden email] Wouldn't the KRX3 be considered a "coming attraction"? No word on its status as of today, the 25th, and the projected "shiping" date. Was this just a carrot being dangled in front of those who have waited almost a year? I would hope not, but..... I believe the KRX3 was being offered along with the K3 last year at about this time.....yes? Patience is one thing, but when it's the same old thing over and over it becomes frustrating. At the very least we should have seen an update today. I for one would prefer to wait and have a more perfect product. Considering the length of time I plan on using the K3, a few days or weeks longer or even months would be time well spent.

hi Howard,
they said they will be shipping a first bunch of KRX3 and then see how they perform in the field and when there are no more problems to be solved, the missing units will be sent. I am waiting for my KRX3 too. I agree with your last words and I think Elecraft does what is possible to give us a product which satisfies our and their expectations. I have always felt informed about problems, progress and also delivery time. In the meantime I try to learn and enjoy the K3RX1 ;-) 73! de Werner OE9FWV |

Might as well ask, I guess. I thought the second receiver was going to be
the same as the first. Sounds like this is not the case. Not saying that is bad, just that it doesn't fit with what I thought I knew. What is/are the "main" differences or possible problems that must be worked out? Just wondering, 73, de Jim KG0KP _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Subscriber Info (Addr. They are exactly the same. The only way that the performance might be different would be if you install different filters in it. I saw it in Wayne's radio at Visalia yesterday and it works. -- 73, Vic, K2VCO Fresno CA http://www.qsl.net/k2vco _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
