KX-3 Dimmer

Gents,

Love the radio - just need some advice.

I can not find a setting to dim the display or especially the OFS or B LED on the right side.

They are great in bright light, in dim light or at night they are really strong and blinding.

Does anyone know how to reduce the power to these?

I found the same as you with the bright OFS/B LEDs.

This may sound cheesy, but the best fix for the LEDs might be to simply cut
out a small circle of adhesive-backed semi-transparent filter material and
stick it on. I think I've seen an Avery-type label that would be perfect
(downside: you have to buy a bunch of labels). It might diffuse the light
nicely too.

The punch for punching paper to go in a 3-ring binder could do a clean job
on the circle and should be just right for size.

(I wouldn't want to touch the main display screen though)
