Hi,

KX1 Build.

Thanks for the helpful replies to my last issue (6 volt supply), that is now
resolved!
I have got to page 42. Then on to the Relay checks - all OK. I switched off
the rig then later I switched back on and plugged in my headphones for the
sidetone test. But 7 displays briefly; then just the single lower left
vertical LED segment flashes.
I have tried a reset but as soon as the switches are released the same Led
segment still just flashes.

Is there anything else I should be checking?
Any suggestions appreciated as my planned /P building attempt has now
paused, and I was so close to getting the RX working!

Nicolas,

Sounds like a loose connection or solder/wire causing the issue.  I highly
recommend going through the board and looking closely at all of the
components and solder connections.  Every problem I ever had was basically
one of solder connections.  Either I missed one or got interrupted and
didn't finish one correctly.

Good luck I know you will figure it out. Don't forget to put it aside and
give it a rest every now and then as well.  It works great to take a break.
Otherwise something so simple can become quite frustrating, at least it does
for me.
