Phil.

I just ordered these via Amazon ..
A BlueAnt RB-BKBL-US Ribbon Stereo Bluetooth Streamer- Bluetooth Headset
and a TaoTronics® TT-BA01 Wireless Portable Bluetooth Stereo Music
Transmitter (Not A Bluetooth Receiver) for my KX1 and KX3.

When they get here I'll check them out and let you know..
TaoTronics also makes a 'twin' Bluetooth receiver for a mike... but
I'm not trying that approach just yet :)

Phil Hystad-3
Dave,

Thanks, looking forward to your experience with the TaoTronics transmitter.
I already have great ear buds (Plantronics GO2) that I like very much for
stereo with iPhone and iPad, so no need for a headset.

My ops are like 98.994949+ (10 times the square root of 98) percent
CW only so have zero need for voice or mic BT receiver.  The only reason
I want to use BT for the KX3/K3 is so that I can easily get up and move around
briefly without having to take off the headset and then put it back on again.

Also, I don't want to get tangled up in a long cord which is my current
predicament and my motivation for BT.

I could have made my question more clear though -- I am looking for a
base BT audio bluetooth transmitter only -- not headphones.  Although,
I do have my eye on a new pair of Beats BT headphones but they cost
almost as much as the K3 sub-receiver and I am mixed on what is more
important.
