Margaret K7MWP and I will be hiking on the Pacific Crest Trail north from Rainy Pass in Washington State for three or four days starting on Tuesday afternoon, August 5th.
Most of our operating will be in the evenings. Check the vicinity of 3560 kHz and 7030 kHz and 10 116 kHz in the evenings. If we operate during the daytime, look for us around 10 116 kHz or 14 060 kHz. In addition, I might check into the WSN at 0145 Z or 0445 Z on 3563 kHz, BCEN at 0200Z on 3652 kHz or IMN sometime between 0245 Z and 0310 Z on 3578.5 kHz. We'll be offering 6-character Maidenhead grid coordinates in exchanges. See
http://f6fvy.free.fr/qthLocator/fullScreen.php to determine your Maidenhead coordinates.
We'll be carrying an Elecraft KX1 and some Small Wonder Labs DSW rigs, the new DCP paddle from American Morse Equipment, and half-wavelength dipole antennas.
