Hi all,
I recently purchased a KX1 20,40 (not my first, I built one a couple years ago) that had about 2.5w on 20m and 3w on 40m. I installed the 30/80 board and the power mod now I have 2.2w on 20m and 5.5w on 80m, 5w on 40m and 5.5 on 30m. I have triple checked the turns on the LPF and they are ok, adjusted the turns and made about .2w on 20m difference.
I am thinking of removing a turn from the 9 turn part of the coils.
What do you guys think? Any advice welcomed.
I did search for this problem and did not find anything specific.
