KX3-2M?

Any word when the 2m module for the KX3 is expected?  I heard a
"rumor" of early 2013.....but??
Maybe the design team is looking at the trade-off between the 2M and
a EXREF for internal installation?

I would like to get both and expect one to be housed external to the radio.
