Forgive me if this has been raised before. A quick search of the archives didn't find it.
When tuning at a 10Hz rate, pushing the APF button changes the tuning rate to the 1Hz rate, which is appropriate for the fine tuning required of the APF feature. Pushing the APF button again changes back to the original 10Hz tuning rate, as it should. I often prefer to tune CW slowly through the band at the 1Hz rate and frequently use the APF feature for weak signals. In this case when I push the APF button the 1Hz rate is preserved. Pushing APF again to exit that feature, however, changes the tuning rate to 10Hz requiring that I push the rate button to return to the original 1Hz tuning. Please add this to the list of minor inconveniences that should be fixed after more pressing software mods are completed. Thanks, William Ravenel, AI4VE ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
