KX3 - ATU Problem

By paying careful attention to the manuals I have been able to level all
my problems save one. With my non-resonant antenna attached, if I press
the ATU TUNE pushbutton I get ERR TXO in the VFO B window and d=000 in
the VFO A window. If I press the XMIT button the TX indicator comes on
but there is no indication that anything else happens. If I press the
TUNE button (long press of the XMIT button) I get an SWR indication of
4.8-1, 4.0 W and the TX indicator comes on. The ATU MD is AUTO. If while
in ATU MD I use the VFO A dial to go up into the L settings I can hear a
relay click. That's the only time I can hear the relay click.

The Users Manual says that an ERR TXO means that there is a problem with
the opposite sideband null and that this should be set at the factory.
Any suggestions?
