KX3 Batteries!

*Good afternoon, Folks.*

*I've looked in the Owner's Manual for the KX3 and can't seem to find the
answer to my question.*

*My question: When I'm running my (soon to be received & built) KX3-K on an
external Power Supply [I will have the Internal Battery option installed
WITHOUT batteries because of the horror stories about battery leakage], is
this option disabled?  In other words will the voltage from the PS still
power my KX3 by just plugging the PS up to the KX3?  Or do I have to make a
MENU adjustment?*
