Hello folks,
is it possible to change the NORM presets for the filter bandwidths for SSB/CW modes at my KX3? I find it a bit annoying that SSB defaults to 2.7 kHz and CW to 400 Hz. Regards! None an idea??
I wonder why this should not be user-settable? Sven,
The NORM preset is fixed, but there are the per band, per mode settings for NORM1 and NORM2 available to be customized as well as the I/II presets. See page 24 of the manual. 73, Don W3FPR On 5/20/2014 8:03 AM, Sven Ladegast wrote: > None an idea?? > > I wonder why this should not be user-settable? > > Sven, DJ2AT > > Am 19.05.2014 09:55, schrieb Sven Ladegast: >> Hello folks, >> >> is it possible to change the NORM presets for the filter bandwidths for >> SSB/CW modes at my KX3? >> >> I find it a bit annoying that SSB defaults to 2.7 kHz and CW to 400 Hz. >> >> Regards! >> >> Sven, DJ2AT ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [hidden email] |

For the KX3? Page 24 of my manual deals with battery life and vfo friction

Sorry,
It is early morning for me and the eyes did not focus well - so my response was for the K3. For the KX3, the adjustability is not as great and there is only one knob. See page 12 of the KX3 manual. 73, Don W3FPR On 5/20/2014 9:05 AM, Phil Genera wrote: > For the KX3? Hello Don,
many thanks for your reply! But page 12 of the owner's manual does only cover how to engange that preset and not how to set it. At the K3 these presets are user-definable per mode which I really would like to see for the KX3 too. So if anyone of the firmware developers has some minutes time for this? Kind regards!
