There will be a certain minimum voltage requirement for this. We'll
include this info in the manual. 73, Wayne N6KR On Jan 3, 2012, at 2:14 PM, [hidden email] wrote: > Anybody have input on charging the KX3 KXBT3/battery pack with a 12 > V. While we are on the subject, I am interested in learning what the maximum current
drain is for the KX3. Does anyone know what size power supply is required? I can't seem to find those specs on the website. I assume a 25w power supply would be adequate for the stated maxiumum 12w output, but I would like to be sure of that before I order one. Thanks and VY 73, Lance On 1/3/2012 10:14 PM, [hidden email] wrote: > Anybody have input on charging the KX3 KXBT3/battery pack with a 12 V. I would also expect a certain MAXIMUM voltage spec as well. Most "12V" solar
panels have an open circuit voltage in the 18-20V range. Some kind of limiter (e.g. zener) would be wise. 73, Bruce, N1RX > There will be a certain minimum voltage requirement for this.
