Hello,
I have a strange problem when playing a recorded (CQ)message on "repeat". The message records ok and plays back. When switched to repeat it will cycle the message 3 or more times, then transmit without sending the message. No recorded audio is heard from the monitor or being transmitted. This was checked with the aid of another receiver. The next cycle everything goes back to normal for a random number of transmissions then the same happens again. When the recording is not being transmitted the microphone is turned on. Audio from the mic could be heard on the other receiver. I wonder if others have noted this. Or if I am doing something wrong. Have installed the latest Beta firmware so not sure if there be a bug as it is the first time I have tried the repeat feature. 73 de Colin G4ERO ----- No virus found in this message. Colin,
Yes I have experienced the exact same issue ever since the SSB DVR facility became available, a reset of the msg 1 or 2 is the only work around until it happens again but you hope you do not send qrz or cq that often it is not suppose to be used as a beacon (I do not think) hihi... I mentioned this to Wayne just the other day and he said there was some new F/W available that solved this issue, maybe I should check. BTW see you at Pye and Pint this evening with laptop and KX3 to try it out if the London trains are still running, rail broke it seems outside Cheshunt, I'll bring the variometer I borrowed. 72 Dom M1KTA On 03/04/13 14:49, Colin Leonard wrote: > Hello, > > I have a strange problem when playing a recorded (CQ)message on "repeat". > > The message records ok and plays back.
