Yes, this KXBC3 feature is neither implemented nor announced. It is a standard feature of today's chargers and would be a useful enhancement, e.g. for spontaneous use of KX3.
As an alternative, maybe Wayne could provide a factory-proved solution to "shunt" the KXBC3 charger function (maintaining all other KXBC3 functions)?
