[KX3] KXFL Calibration

John Griswold-2
On Page 10, the first instruction is to "Rotate PBT I/II to display BW
0.60. Note that the XFIL display changes from FL3 to FL2."

Well, the display changes to FL2 only when I get to BW 0.50.

I'm wondering if this is
a) important and shows that I mucked up a step
b) important and shows that there's something else wrong
c) oh, just let it go John. You're such an engineer (OK, a little bit of
projecting my XYL there)

I'm using the supplied test antenna in lieu of having a really cool
signal generator, if that has any bearing.

Thanks & 72,
John KK1X

John,

The important thing is to have FL2 selected, the actual bandwidth is not
that important.

Hi John

As cheap as the XG50's are and easy to assemble you should consider buying
one it could be a real help for you here.
