I picked up a used Dell E6200 for use as the digital side of a KX3 station. Have played with Andy's Ham distribution (yes I intend to use linux, 64bit), but have been having problems getting the HDD (actually SSD) install to 'stick' and boot... the live iso does fine, but simply have not been able to get the system to boot from either the SSD or an SD card, though it see's and claims to install successfully to both...
Not close to the Elecraft utilities for the KX3 and PX3, but that is coming soon, so helps and hints there too would be appreciated.
I'm conversant in linux, a Mac user by choice, and slightly**3 biased against windows in this context...
Any thoughts or hints would be appreciated....
