I'm getting familiar with using my new KX3 so maybe this something I
have overlooked or not fully understood. I was attempting to check into the Sunday SSB Net and had entered the memory location for 14.303.5 then tuned up to 14.304 before net time to listen to the net that precedes the Elecraft Net. I attempted to go back to 13.303.5 by pressing RCL and then STORE but it resets the memory back to 14.304 when I press STORE. I fussed around trying this a few times and discovered if I rotated VFO-A to a different memory and then back to the one for 14.303.5, then press STORE it loads the net frequency just fine. But not if I manually tune the memory off frequency and try to return via memory RCL? Just wonder if anyone else has encountered this? My K3 has not problem resetting to memory channel after tuning off freq. so find this surprising. I have 1.06 rev5 sw loaded into the KX3. I decided 20m skip was too long to check in today (barely could copy NC, but heard W5's very loud). The KX3 is driving my 300w PA very nicely at 270w (same as my K3/10 does). I am monitoring 50.125 today as the PNW has a 6m opening into EU early Friday. 73, Ed - KL7UW, WD2XSH/45 ====================================== BP40IQ 500 KHz - 10-GHz www.kl7uw.com EME: 50-1.1kw?, 144-1.4kw, 432-QRT, 1296-?, 3400-?
