KX3 - Screen Brightness and Contrast Adjustment?

Is there a way to adjust the brightness and screen contrast on the KX3?
I looked through the menu and did not find the settings.

Short answer NO.  The display used does not have the capability so firmware update not an option.

There is a menu item to turn the backlight off.  You may use that to
extend battery life.

Would be nice to add KX1 Display Mode to KX3 - when turn vfo or others just let display light for 3 seconds
