[KX3] Speakers + Phones

Cady, Fred
I know its contraindicated for extending battery life, but it would sure
be useful to allow the speaker plus phones to both be active like the
K3. When you are using the Phones output to drive a computer sound card
the speaker is muted. When trying to tune in RTTY and PSK signals it's a
lot easier if you can hear the signals.

Cheers and 73 all,
Fred

John Hendricks-2
I use the stereo output, one side to the computer & the other side to earphones for aid in tuning.

Re: [KX3] Speakers + Phones

Jim Rhodes-2
I bought the cable kit from e-craft thinking I had everything needed for
digital modes. But it seems there weren't any digital modes people involved
in setting up the firmware or the cable kit. Should have just made my own I
guess.
