When is this module going to see the light of day, please?

We prioritized the amp ahead of it (same engineer on both projects).

I'm guessing we'll be field-testing 2-meter modules around Dayton,
assuming all goes well. (Did I mention this thing is incredibly small?)

Re: KX3 Two Meter Module

Is there any indication yet regarding the stability of the unit on 2m?  Will it have
its own oscillator, or will it be relying on the existing oscillator in the KX3?  VY

Re: KX3 Two Meter Module

It will use the existing oscillator. Since the 2-m module requires
very low drive from the KX3's 10-watt stage, there will be far less
heating of the oscillator subsystem than when the KX3 is transmitting
at normal power levels.

Nonetheless, for SSB/CW/DATA, the operator may want to perform the
extended temperature compensation procedure. For FM the stability
should be sufficient without it. We'll post typical frequency
stability characteristics for 2 meters once we have the data.
