KX3 VFO Noise Mod

Howdy Gang:

Has anyone performed the KX3 VFO Noise Mod on their KX3 yet???

If so, how well does the mod work in terms of reducing the VFO noise??

Hi Joe,

I just did, and the tuning noise is gone on all affected bands!

To be sure nothing was changed at the filter I will check the sideband
suppression, however I took great care not to touch the caps.

As Wayne just said it should not change anything when the instructions
are met but I have the necessary equipment to check.

No changes found, the numbers I noted earlier still apply.
