KX3 VFO encoder noise

Recent uptick in 6m activity recently gave me my first chance to really
spend time on that band with the KX3. I found, even with the VFO NR
enabled, the vfo encoder noise was very bothersome, especially when surfing
the band for weak signals.  I've noticed it occasionally on other bands
(mainly 10m) at times, but on 6m it seems like a substantial issue that
really hampers 6m use.  Wondering if a fix is in the works?
