I have a KX3 that I assembled a few months ago. I just install the KXBC3
Battery Charger. I have wanted a way to see the state of the battery charge level. I would think a portable radio should have the capability. Have I overlooked it? ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Tap DISP and turn the OFS knob. First you see the clock, then you see the PS (power supply) voltage, then you see the BT (battery voltage), followed by the current draw.

Might it be possible to see the maH drawn since the end of the last charge?
Is seems that such info could be a useful gauge of how much battery juice is remaining. (If the answer is no, add this idea to the suggestion box.) 73 - Jim K8MR In a message dated 12/6/2012 11:46:49 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, [hidden email] writes: Tap DISP and turn the OFS knob.
