KX3 driving KPA500?

With a K3 and a KX3 in the stable I have decided to be rid of my Yaesus and use the KX3 as the contest backup rig.  Question - how well does it play with the KPA500 and the KAT500?  Any special considerations in cabling?  Anyone know how much output I can expect from the amp?  Thanks for whatever advice anyone can offer.

My KPA500 shows between 12 and 13 dB gain depending on band.

10W in should give you about 180W out, give or take.
