KX3 kit alignment just got easier

Hi all,

We had originally intended to have KX3 kit builders perform some
alignment steps that require a ham-band receiver and transmitter/
signal generator. But the KX3 is designed to appeal to first-time
builders who may not have any ham gear at all, so we've decided to do
this alignment at the factory on *all* KX3s. This will ensure
consistent performance in all cases.

Unfortunately it will also increase the workload for our manufacturing
techs. Lyle and I have "interrupted our regular program" to write
firmware to help automate and speed up some alignment procedures.

All of the calibration procedures can still be performed manually, and
will be documented in the Owner's Manual. They can be accomplished in
the field if another 160-6 meter ham transceiver is available.
