KX3 no cw in ssb mode?

[AC6JA]

I was just going through the menu settings and found that under the CW  
WEIGHT menu, when I tap "1" or "2", I just get N/A.
I wanted to set my KX3 to be able to key CW in SSB mode.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I just came across that too in an older post.
I just figured if it was  in the printed manual, it was already in the
feature set.
Oh well, something  else to look forward to!

Yes, we all experience that, and will until Wayne has time to work down
the firmware list to that item - it will be here, but I don't know when.

Hi Mike,

CW in SSB mode is a feature I hoped to have available for the coming
ARRL VHF contest (19 Jan), but is one of the four documented features
not yet ready for prime time. These features are enumerated in the KX3
Rev B-4 manual errata:

I'll probably use my K3 at QRP level instead of the KX3 for this contest.
