KX3 software downloads

John Hendricks-2
I tried to copy the latest software update for a KX3 & PX3 to a USB memory
stick and could only find a zip file for a Bata load. Where are the zip
files for the current load located on the Elecraft site? Trying to update a
computer that doesn't have internet access.

It works just fine if you use a proper FTP client …

You need ftp:// in front of that link. This should work for you:

ftp://ftp.elecraft.com/KX3/firmware

Another way is to use the FTP client in the KX3 and PX3 utilities. Go to the Firmware tab, navigate to the folder of your choice, and “copy new files”. That will fetch the current production versions.  This isn’t a zip file, it’s separate files.

 

There is a procedure in KX3 Utility Help, “Manual File Transfer” that goes though this.
