Among a few other small "would like to see" items. How about a VFO lock. I have, what my wife describes as, big nubs. I tend to bump the VFO often. A minor fix has been tightening the VFO A friction. But a lock would be great while filtering out some QSO's.

Hi Mike,
Hold the KHZ switch for about 3 seconds. The VFO A lock symbol will come on. For more details see page 11 of the KX3 Owner's Manual. 73, Wayne N6KR On Oct 10, 2012, at 9:23 AM, Mike Mardis wrote: > Among a few other small "would like to see" items. How about a VFO > lock. VFO LOCK is already implemented. Just hold down the RATE button for
about 5 seconds and you'll hear the beep and see the padlock icon appear on the display. Moving the VFO knob then has no effect. To remove VFO LOCK, just tap the RATE button. Hope this helps. 73, BILL GERTH, W4RK Jefferson City, MO First Licensed 1954 CWOPS #459 KX3 (S/N 112) On Oct 10, 2012, at 11:23 AM, Mike Mardis wrote: > Among a few other small "would like to see" items. If you hold the Rate/kHz button for a few seconds, it will lock the VFO.
