I ordered my KX3 on day 1. However I was late as the email went out at
night and I woke up, saw it and ordered it. Mine came last week. So the learning curve new product difficulties getting out the zillion day 1 orders was time consuming. I bet they loved everyone of those first day orders! Good work Elecraft! ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
I ordered mine on the 28th just after noon local eastern time. I haven't
seen a thing since. I'm beginning to believe I got lost along the way. Barry K3NDM On 5/24/2012 2:24 PM, William Levy wrote: > I ordered my KX3 on day 1. Hi Barry,
Based on that date and time, you were not overlooked. Based on UNOFFICIAL information, they are currently shipping: - factory built unit orders placed roughly around 12/28/2011 1400 UTC which is about two hours before your estimated time of order. They have shipped up through about serial number 0200 or so. - kit orders placed roughly around 12/28/2011 0345 UTC which is about eight hours before your estimated time of order. Kit orders are just now starting to ramp up, just as factory built orders ramped up about a month ago after a month of small numbers of units shipped. Also, you can check out the UNOFFICIAL order tracking workbook. http://t.co/dCWwtOQD The Elecraft shipping status page will let you know about where they are. That is the only official word. 73 de JP WF4Z On Thu, May 24, 2012 at 3:18 PM, Barry LaZar <[hidden email]> wrote: > I ordered mine on the 28th just after noon local eastern time. The mid august shipping schedule will seem to make our summer last a
lo-o-o-o-ng time ;o) . Here in the north east that's a good thing. (sorry guys, just sitting here with the radio, computer, antennae and N1MM working and waiting for CQ WW to start.) 73 Joe k2UF No trees were harmed in the sending of this e-mail; however, many electrons were inconvenienced. -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Eric Swartz - WA6HHQ, Elecraft Sent: Thursday, May 24, 2012 9:17 PM Cc: [hidden email] Subject: [Elecraft] KX3 Shipping Status Shipping status page just updated as of today at 5 PM. http://www.elecraft.com/elecraft_shipping_status.htm 73, Eric --- www.elecraft.com ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
I agree Joe -- I just setup N1MM for the first time with my K3. When I
clicked on a spot I sure wished I had a KAT500 (I used a balanced Palstar). Not this contest. But I might give the KX3 a test just to see how it works in a contest. If so, no spotting and QRP. Good luck to ya 73, Bob, WB4SON ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

Hi all
I will agree. I believe this is going to be the longest summer on record, for me -- YES. What about the state QSO parties and the RTTY contests? I do more than ARRL and CQ contests. 73 ES CUL DE N3KHK ================================================= John R. We had a chance to have hands on (no antenna, no transmitting) with KX3 #156
at the El Dorado County ARC this evening. VERY cool. As I am somewhat familiar now with my K3, the transition would be simple. Well done Elecraft. It's purty too.
