KX3 won't start

Hi to all,

A friend of mine reports that sometimes his KX3 (received las week) don't start and he have to wait a few minutes before it gets on. The same problem is reported in Yahoo,s KX3 group. Search for "KX3 starts up with no rx this morning" on Yahoo.

My KX3 #190 never had this problem. I use the last FW official release.

Any idea?

Sorry folks, my title is misleading. The exact problem is better described like this one from Yahoo:

Fired up the KX3 this morning..., no receive for several minutes. Antenna tuned OK and each time the tune sequence ended I had a receive signal briefly, 1/2 second or less.

Band?  Mode?  S Meter reading?  Power supply voltage reading on the KX3
display?  Current?  Does changing modes or bands fix the symptoms?
