KX60XV failure and loss of sensitivity on 40

Joseph Reed-2
I was installing the K60XV in my K2 and I hit a glitch.  After installing the module I was doing the initial test and as luck would have it the 60 meter band didn't appear.

OK, go to troubleshooting.  Checked to make sure it was plugged in correctly.  It was.  And no signals were heard on any band.  Bummer I thought so I removed the K60XV module, plugged the 4.7pf cap on pins 1&3 of J15, and jumpered pins 3 & 5 of J13.  160, 80, 30, 20, 17, 15,12 and 10 meters are good.  I can hear signals on 40 but sensitivity is way off.  I left D19 to on

Question 1 - any ideas as to what I should look for?  40 used to be HOT.  And after putting the cap back in and jumpering the RF path I expected 40 to return to normal.

  Question 2 - Whats up with the K60XV?  P1 & P2 are fine, R1 and C12 are correct.
I did clip the leads on Z1, could I have damaged it?

  Thanks,
